The Victim Services Portal is an online platform for individuals to apply for programs offered by the Office of Victim Services. Using the Victim Services Portal, you may apply for the programs below by creating an account. A summary of each program is provided.

To get started as a new user, select Create Account located on the navigation bar. If you previously created an account, please select Login on the navigation bar to check the status of previously submitted applications.

Address Confidentiality Program (ACP)

ACP provides participants with free confidential mail forwarding service. The program is available to residents of Montana who are victims of partner or family member assault, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking, or a person eligible to petition for an order of protection.

The program is designed to aid victims of qualifying offenses who wish to protect their address by providing the victim with a substitute address. This is to contribute to a victims overall safety. For more information about creating a safety plan, please contact a local victim advocate.

The program has two basic parts. First, ACP provides a designated address for victims who have moved to a new Montana location unknown to their abuser. Second, ACP provides participants with a free first-class confidential mail forwarding service.

Hope Card

The Montana Hope Card Program allows anyone with a valid, permanent order of protection to request a durable, wallet sized card that summarizes the order of protection most important details. Hope Cards are a more convenient way to provide important information about an existing protection order that law enforcement can use to verify the order in the case of a violation. Hope Cards are free and can be requested at any time while an order of protection is active. They are valid until an order expires, is dismissed, or materially modified. Hope Cards are only issued for permanent orders of protection, not on temporary orders of protection. You may request additional cards for any children or other individuals covered by the protection order during the application process.
